Notice Of Public Hearing For Extension Of Time For Approved Conditional Use Permit

Calaveras County, CA...Lead Agency: Calaveras County Planning Department, 891 Mountain Ranch Rd., San Andreas, CA 95249 2016-1135 Extension of Time for approved Conditional Use Permit 2012-042 for the Cottage Springs Resort, Dick & Jeanette Guthrie: The applicants are requesting an extension of time to extend the expiration date of approved conditional use permit 2012-042. On January 13, 2015, the Calaveras County Board of Supervisors approved a CUP for the landowners to reactivate a family snow play and tube hill operation, previously known as the Cottage Springs Resort located at 8609 Hwy 4 in Camp Connell. APN: 006-010-018 is a portion of the SE ¼ of Section 21, T6N, R16E, MDM and is located approximately 32 miles east of Angels Camp on SR4, the former Cottage Springs Ski Area.



NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Calaveras County Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on March 23, 2017 at 9:00 a. m. or soon thereafter to consider the above referenced project. The public hearing will be held in the Calaveras County Board of Supervisors Chambers, Government Center, 891 Mountain Ranch Road, San Andreas, California.

Pursuant to Government Code 65009, if anyone challenges the above listed issues in a court of law, the challenge may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raise at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Commission, at or prior to, the public hearing. You are welcome to review the application at the Calaveras County Planning Department during normal working hours, 8:00 a. m. to 4:00 p. m., Monday through Friday except county holidays. Planning Commission staff reports are made available for public viewing online at http://www.co.calaveras.ca.us/cc/Departments/PlanningDepartment/PlanningCommission.aspx on the Friday prior to the scheduled meeting. The project file and staff report can be viewed or purchased at the Planning Department for the cost of making the copies.

    Yes approve it! Maybe it will keep all the dumb people from snow sliding on highway 4, and it will prevent the locals from picking up all their garbage, broken plastic sleds like the area above Camp Connell! Keep the White Pines lake bridge closed.
