Stampede Into The Frogtown Arena
Angels Camp, CA...The Calaveras County Fair and Jumping Frog Jubilee is set to hold two new Stampede events during the 2017 fair. In addition to the events held last year, Three Man Cattle Penning has returned along with Ranch Roping. Those interested in participating must be residents of Calaveras, Amador, Tuolumne, or Alpine county. Out of area riders may participate if their team is made up of 50 percent Calaveras residents or producers.
Additionally, this year children will be able to compete in the new Flag Race during the kid's events. Western Horse Events will take place May 19-20, Friday and Saturday of fair.Those interested may enter one entry by April 18, if events are still open after this date participants can enter a second time. The final deadline is May 1, 2017. Entries open March 1.
