This event every year is a great reminder of why this area is a great place to live, work and thrive. The business community here is not made up of big box store after big box store or chain after chain. It is made up of a collection of businesses, entrepreneurs & community members who have put their dreams, energy & capital into play to make our communities better places to live.

We live in contentious times but we believe Calaveras County like many small communities are great lenses to view the world. Here we have to all cooperate and help those around us for our communities to be viable economically and attract outside visitors and investment.

Our differences are what make this a great place to live. We come from different backgrounds, political views and even elevations but we all form part of something that helps those who are down, celebrates those who excel and make this area a vacation and recreation destination.
