Arnold SIR Branch 152 Lunch Meeting, Tuesday February 21st

Arnold,CA... On Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at 11:00 AM, SIR (Sons in Retirement, Branch 152 ) will hold its Monthly Luncheon Meeting at Snowflake Lodge, 2255 Blue Lake Springs Drive, Arnold, CA. Sir Branch 152 is honored that our February speaker will be Calaveras County Sheriff Rick DiBasilio.



Sheriff DiBasilio has been our Sheriff since May of 2016, and leads the mission to provide competent, effective public safety services to all persons with the highest regard for human dignity through efficient, professional, and ethical law enforcement and crime prevention practices.

Sheriff DiBasilio started with the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office in 2002, and has worked a variety of assignments including Patrol, Investigations and Narcotics. Prior to becoming the Sheriff of Calaveras County, Sheriff DiBasilio had worked as a Patrol Sergeant, a Detective assigned to Homicides, Elder Abuse, Sexual Assaults and General Property Crimes.

Sheriff DiBasilio has numerous responsibilities which include Patrol Division; Criminal Investigations Division; The Office of Emergency Services, Boating Safety Division; Court Security Services; Search & Rescue Team; SWAT Team, Emergency Ordinance Disposal (Bomb Team) Hazardous Materials Team the Records and Civil Division; and has oversight of the Calaveras County Correctional Facility.

Sheriff DiBasilio has been a resident of Calaveras County for 38 years.

SIR (Sons in Retirement) is a Men’s only organization. We are not political, and not associated to any religious organization, we are not a service club, we have no paid employees and no physical assets; we meet entirely for the benefit of our members. Visitors are asked to contact the Membership Director about attending scheduled meetings, we welcome all retired gentlemen.
