Early Morning Fire At Curtis Creek Elementary
Sonora,CA...Just before 5 AM this morning, Deputies and fire personnel responded to Curtis Creek Elementary School in Sonora where a fire erupted on campus. The fire was contained to two classrooms but smoke and water damage occurred to at least 4 classrooms.
No injuries were reported as the school was unoccupied. The cause of the fire is under investigation. All classes at Curtis Creek are cancelled for the remainder of this week, today and Friday January 27, 2017. Honor Band rehearsals are also cancelled.
