Dylann Roof, Shooter In The Charleston Church Massacre Sentenced To Death ~ By Yvonne Dudley

Charleston, SC....Earlier today Dylann Storm Roof was unanimously sentenced to death by a jury of his peers as opposed to life imprisonment. Dylan roof is an avowed white supremacist who is responsible for murdering nine black church members in the Charleston Church shooting on June 17th, 2015 in hopes of starting a race war.

After a three hour deliberation the jury found Roof guilty of all charges. Roof's trial began on December 7th, 2016 and he was found guilty of all 33 federal charges including the 18 charges that carry the death penalty only a week later on December 15th. Roof dismissed his attorneys for the sentencing phase of the trial and represented himself. Throughout the trial Roof showed no remorse for his actions and in a jailhouse manifesto wrote, "I do not regret what I did, I am not sorry, I have not shed a tear for the innocent people I have killed."

The sentencing hearing has been set for Wednesday January 11th where Judge Richard Gergel will formally sentence him.

If we are serious about using the death penalty, sometime this week would be soon enough, otherwise the death penalty is a joke!

It will be tied up forever since the judge told the idiot he had to file his appeal on his own since he represented himself. He is a special kind of stupid.

There should be NO chance for this a rod to appeal, tis is the problem with the so called Death Penalty many of us that are tired of killers. Living when families and friends have to live with the needless taking of lives, and the killer gets to live! This is ass backward!

Personally I think justice would be 1 family member from each affected family be allowed to implement as much damage to this person as 45 seconds allow. Government supply the affected family members
    's weapon of choice.

Could be a Calaveras kid without too much thought - little future, thought he'd be better off, maybe did a couple of years in the military. Perhaps we need to think about the promises we make our children and the American dream versus the reality of what real life looks life after.
