Tuolumne County Sheriff's Department Participates In Raising Cancer Awareness
Sonora, CA...The Tuolumne County Sheriff's Deputies participated in a mustache growing contest during the month of November. "MOvember" is about helping to raise awareness for mens health issues, but it also brings Cancer to the forefront.
(Lft) Cpl. Imlach, Dep. McCaig, Sgt. Nikiforuk, and Dep. Knapp(zoom in its there.) Looking good boys.
Dep. Smith is flanked by some really tall guys! Dep. Poel (left) and Sgt. Hunt (right). K9 Beau has a natural mustache he keeps year round.
Cancer has touched all of our lives in one way or another. All of the of the money raised will go directly to patients of the Cancer Center at SRMC (Cancer Support Fund). The Cancer Center was very grateful for the fundraising efforts last year and the Deputies are excited to donate again this year to help ease the burden a bit, on the strong and courageous fighters in our community.
The pictures are rolling in as the last day of the month is here and those stache's will be shaved off.
