(The Big Labor Day Clearance Sale Is On Now!!!) Mark Your Calendars For An Action Packed Labor Day Weekend in Bear Valley!
Bear Valley, CA...Bear Valley Cross Country & Adventure Company's Annual Labor Day Rental. Equipment Sale begins on Monday, September 5th, starting at 9:00 am. Summer rental gear will be offered at blowout prices! Rental Road and Mountain Bikes from Specialized,Rental Single and Double Kayaks from Perception, and Rental Stand-Up Paddleboards from CBC and Boardworks will all be on sale. Stop by the store and pick up a rental sale pricelist. Retail clothing & cross country ski equipment will be on sale throughout the Labor Day weekend as well. (While you are up here, make sure to purchase your 2016/17 cross country season ski pass before the rates go up on October 1st!)
Bear Valley Mountain will be operating their FREE Shuttle Bus to and from Lake Alpine beginning at 11 am(runs hourly) on Saturday and Sunday (and Monday of Labor Day weekend). Take a shuttle ride up with your bike or your hiking shoes and your dog, then it's all downhill back to Bear Valley! The Bear Valley Adventure Park will also be operating daily from 12 noon to 5pm through Monday, September 5th.
On Saturday evening, "The Fuss, Plus", will be the featured live band starting at 7pm at the Bear Valley Lodge.
Sunday morning is the annual Bear Valley Triathlon, a short distance triathlon that is fun for all ages. The race starts at Bear Lake.
Ebbetts Pass Century is coming up fast!
It was another successful Death Ride, Tour of the California Alps, event in July. But, don't put your bike shoes away just yet! The Ebbetts Pass Century event is happening soon! The 9th Annual Ebbetts Pass Century will be held on August 20, 2016 and we look forward to seeing many of you enjoying the world class cycling surrounding Bear Valley, California.
