They should change the team name to "not the Redskins".

You would think they'd have no problem raising the money since so many people wanted it changed. Only problem is that they're Democrats, so they only like to spend other people's money.

The state does offer funding to help with the transition but it is great that locals are also helping.

The state is not paying for the transition. Governor Brown vetoed that part of the bill. He said schools can replace the shirts, signs, stationery whenever they naturally wear out. So the expenses will be up to the schools.

I hate PC promoted by the fascist totalitarian libiots. You think it's bad now, wait til the generation presently populating college campuses takes over.

I hate that little Japanese boy named Timmy, that's in all of the Gamera movies.

Calaveras Chipmunks should be the new name. Pays homage to those scrappy little native guys!

What about Calaveras "white-trash"? Also pays homage to the local natives.

So what are they changing the name to?
And, if the state says they can keep the Redskins items until they run out or wear out, then that is no different than the normal expense they would have incurred for replacing the uniforms every few years, which is in the budget, right?
So why the fund raiser?
