Skyline Bear Valley Saddened Over Loss of Skier Today

Bear Valley, CA -- (December 23, 2015) - Skyline Bear Valley is sorry to share news of the fatality of a 60-year-old male guest today on the slopes at approximately 1:40 p.m. The man reportedly collapsed while skiing and was pronounced deceased at the scene. No other details are available at this time. Further inquiries are directed to the Alpine County Sheriff: (209) 753-2321. “The entire Bear Valley family is very saddened by this tragic incident,” said Andrea Young, General Manager of Bear Valley. “Our hearts go out to this individual’s family and friends during the tremendously difficult time.”
