Major Injuries To Mountian Ranch Woman In Yesterday's Rollover Accident
San Andreas, CA...Yesterday just before 1pm a Mountain Ranch woman was driving her Toyota westbound on Hwy 12 west of Toll Bridge Road, at approximately 55mph. She saw gravel on the roadway and swerved to avoid it. When she steered to the right her wheels left the roadway, and she traveled onto the gravel shoulder. She then steered to the left in an attempt to get back onto the paved roadway. She was unable to maintain control and the Toyota traveled off the roadway on the north edge of Hwy 12. Her vehicle overturned, colliding with the dirt embankment. The Camry come to rest on it's roof, on top of a barbed wire fence...
She remained in the vehicle until help arrived to assist her out of the vehicle. She sustained major injuries and was transported to Mark Twain Medical Center for treatment of her injuries.
Alcohol and drugs are not considered to be a contributing factor in this collision. The collision is still under investigation...
