Tuolumne Sheriff's Office Investigating Stabbing In Columbia
Columbia, CA...On 10/21/14 about 10:10 P.M. the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call from a subject in the 22000 block of Gunsight Road, Columbia reporting his neighbor had come to his home asking for help as he had been stabbed. Deputies from the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene and met with the victim, twenty seven year old, Adam Jimenez...
Jimenez had a severe laceration to his neck. Jimenez was able to tell the Deputies that he had been involved in an altercation with an acquaintance at his (Jimenez) residence. During the altercation Jimenez was stabbed in the neck. Jimenez was transported by ambulance to Sonora Regional Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.
The suspect(s) had fled the scene prior to the Deputies arrival. The incident is now being investigated by the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office Detective Division. The Detectives have identified a person(s) of interest in this incident. The name of the person(s) of interest is not being released at this time as the investigation is on going.
