Sand Fire Update....The Sand Fire Started By Vehicle Into Dry Grass. 3,800 Acres, 35% Contained, 515 Homes Threatened, 10 Homes Destroyed, 1,464 Personnel
Plymouth, CA....They are starting to gain some ground on the Sand Fire. Containment has jumped to 35% and the acreage has dropped a bit as they complete better mapping and there is usually a bit of shrinkage as they put water on the fire. Great work everyone!!
