Gerald James Marquez - January 3, 1955 -July 18, 2014
Oakland Native and High School graduate of San Lorenzo. He is preceded in life by his loving parents Barcelona Marquez and Jessie M Cruz of Burson CA, Gerry is survived by his Loving Wife Penny Marquez, Adored Daughter Melissa Marquez & Husband Say Phengphanh, Treasured Grand children Kaiya Cruz & Kayleb Quez Phengphanh. Sibling Bobby Marquez, Gilbert Marquez, Jennie Rodriguez, many Nieces and nephews and close family friends. Although residing in the great foothills for 3O years, Gerr/s true spirit shines, brightest in the bay area. His favorite past time consisted of 49ER Games & San Francisco Giants Events. Adored by many and admired by all. He leaves us to join his fallen Siblings, Sunny Marquez, Eugene Marquez, and Marie Kelly. HE will forever be greatly missed by all the lives he touched.
