Historic San Andreas Community Clean-Up Day!

San Andreas, Ca...Show your community spirit and join your neighbors at the inaugural Historic San Andreas Community Clean Up Day! Pick up litter, sweep sidewalks, clear out weeds, trim shrubs and fix welcome signs along Highway 49 in downtown San Andreas. After the Clean-Up, volunteers will be treated to a lunch at Turner Park. This event is co-sponsored by the Calaveras Council of Governments, the San Andreas Recreation & Parks District, San Andreas Community Covenant Church, Calaveras County Health Department, San Andreas Merchants Association and Calaveras County Garden Club...



The Historic San Andreas Community Clean-Up Day takes place on Saturday, August 9, 2014 from 8:00AM to 11:00AM, with an early bird start at 7:00AM. All volunteers age 18 and over are welcome. Volunteers will meet at Turner Park, 287 Treat Ave., San Andreas. Volunteers should wear work clothes and bring gloves, brooms, shovels, rakes, clippers, safety gear and weed-eaters. Registration can be done in advance or on the day of the event. To register in advance go to www.walkandbikecalaveras.org and download the registration form.
