Murphys, CA...What’s Happening in Murphys this Week May 6 through May 16 Save the Date - June 20-22, 2014 - Behind the Bottle Weekend - The week-end kicks-off on Friday night with a concert in Murphys Park, the heart of Calaveras County. Bring a folding chair and a couple of blankets to settle in for a night of swing music by the band Swing Gitane. Wines by the glass and food will be available for purchase. Friday, June 20, 6:00 pm, Murphys Park. No ticket required.... Spend the weekend chatting with your favorite winery staff while sampling their latest releases, or attend a wine appreciation, wine making, wine blending, food pairing, cheese or charcuterie workshop. Wine Down Friday @ Stevenot - Each first Friday of each month from 5-8 pm Stevenot hosts "Wine Down Friday" in the Tasting Room on Main St. Murphys.
