Angels Camp, CA...Russel Frank Pohle, age 88, born March 14, 1926 in Rolla, MO. passed away April 2, 2014 at his residence in Angels Camp, CA. Russel was a ret. production superintendent at the Mare Island shipyards, a veteran of the U.S. Army, member of the V.F.W., and Odd Fellows Hope Lodge #33. He is survived by his loving wife Garda A. Pohle of Angels Camp; Son Mark A. (Katherine) Pohle of Hanford, CA.;and grandson Frank R. Pohle of Hanford, CA....
A funeral service will be held Tuesday April 15, at 1:00 P.M. at the Angels Memorial Chapel in Angels Camp, CA. A private family graveside will follow at Altaville Catholic Cemetery in Altaville, CA.
In lieu of flowers family asks donations be made to the Hospice of the Sierra, 20100 Cedar Rd. north, Sonora, CA 95370.
