Class projects are: a tote bag for class supplies, a small zipper bag, a small bag with a buttonhole & how to sew on a button with the machine. The students will make a pair of shorts or a skirt. Included in the class fee is a new Bernette sewing machine valued at $249.00, all sewing supplies including scissors, pins, marking pencil, seam gage, seam ripper and all materials for class projects including fabric, buttons, threads, and zippers. Additional classes will be scheduled if needed.

What a wonderful opportunity for kids to learn a skill and receive a sewing machine. Dating myself, I remember Home Economics class in high school where we learned cooking and sewing. I still remember my excitement when I completed my "Marsha Brady" smock top!
