Conspiracy Theory Version of Marshall Story Now A Movie
Murphys, CA...A movie is being released in April about the Marshall Family murder suicide. It is called Unthinkable: An Airline Captain's Story (2014) From the film's IMDB page "Marshall Philips has seen and written about things the intelligence community doesn't want people talking about - much less writing books about. When Philips, his two kids and the family dog turn up with a single bullet in each of their heads the day after two "Federal Agents" came looking for a "highly classified" photograph, carefully constructed stories painting Philips as a mentally disturbed "conspiracy theorist" begin appearing...

in the local paper. Investigative journalist Madison Freeman doesn't buy the "murder-suicide" angle offered by local authorities, but when the highly classified photo continues to elude the Agents, nobody is safe.
- Written by Eric G. Stacey"
Many if not most of our local residents believe that the story is as it was investigated to be. A murder suicide that will be etched in our local memories.
In all of our questions with our local Sheriff's Dept, Coroner and others we were left with only sorrow for our local residents who lost their lives but also for those in our local agencies who had to work the crime scene and follow up investigation.
We have received nothing that lead us to believe it was anything other that what the investigation said. There will always be a lingering doubt for many as in a bazaar way it is easier to believe that shadowy third party figures crept into our community and committed this crime than someone many of us knew would break so horribly that he would take the lives of his children before turning the weapon on himself.
We know many in are area were affected by this story. Many, especially the friends of Michaella & Alex have scars from this that they will not want to revisit.
