Murphys Irish Day 2014 – Saturday, March 15 Win A Trip To Ireland Murphys Irish Day Raffle
Murphys, CA...The luck of the Irish will take on special meaning for one happy couple when they are transported from a gold rush town with Irish heritage to the fabled land of shamrocks and leprechauns as grand prize winners of the Win a Trip to Ireland raffle as part of this year’s Murphys Irish Day celebration. The coveted prize offers the travelers flexibility in creating their own itinerary. They will enjoy their first night in a pre-booked accommodation in Dublin or Shannon and then spend the next five nights in Irish Bed & Breakfasts sprinkled throughout the countryside. The couple will have daily home cooked Irish breakfasts. Air transportation and a standard shift rental car are included...
The Murphys Business Association has contracted with Above & Beyond Travel to book this trip. As is usually the case, some restrictions apply.
Specially created Murphys area vacation prize packages will be awarded to three runners-up.
The first includes two nights lodging at Milfiore Historic Country Retreat, lunch for two at Outer Aisle, dinner for two at Grounds, wine and food pairing from Val Du Vino, and a kayak rental from Sierra Nevada Adventure Co.
Another package includes two nights in a vacation home from Murphys Vacation Rentals, lunch for two at Murphys Hotel, dinner for two at Tortuga, wine and food pairing from Frogs Tooth Winery, and a zip line experience for two from Cave & Mine Adventures.
The third prize package encompasses two night’s lodging at Cottages at La Honda, lunch for two at Roquefort, dinner for two at Angelo's Steakhouse Italiano, and a half-price wine tour with Courtwood Wine Tours.
Raffle tickets are five dollars each or five for $20. They are available through March 14 at the Calaveras Visitors Bureau, in Angels Camp, and many locations in Murphys including The Spice Tin, Tanner Vineyards, Marisolio Olive Oil, Jillian’s Day Spa, Murphys Hotel, Sierra Nevada Adventure Company, Creative Cookware, Gold Country Roasters, Bodega del Sur, and Tea-n-Tiques. They also will be available along Main Street during Irish Day.
The winning tickets will be drawn on Saturday, March 15, as part of the Murphys Irish Day Celebration. The winner need not be present.
