A green Dodge being driven by a Salt Lake City man was southbound on Rahide Road. A white Dodge driven by a Jamestown man was traveling southbound on Rawhide Road following the other Dodge. The Dodge drivers observed the driver of the BMW to allow her vehicle to crossover the double yellow line. The Salt Lake City man did not have time to react resulting in a head on collision. The driver of the third vehicle applied his breaks but was not able to stop prior to striking the back of the other Dodge.
