Heavy "Petting" & Drug Charges for Kenneth McLeod
sonora, CA...As part of an on going investigation Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office Detectives and Patrol Deputies served two search warrants. One Search Warrant was served at a residence in the 16000 block of Creekside Drive and the other Search Warrant was served at McClouds Pet Emporium in the Junction Shopping Center. The investigation was focused on the alleged sexual relationship between thirty nine year old Kenneth McLeod, and the sixteen year old female victim...
Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office seized Mr. McLeod’s computer, cell phone and all digital media from his residence. Tuolumne County Narcotics Team (TNT) located at the residence an active operation involving converting marijuana to concentrated cannabis thru a chemical process. Approximately thirteen (13) pounds of marijuana was seized as well as a small amount of concentrated cannabis and the involved equipment.
Kenneth McLeod was arrested and taken to the Tuolumne County Jail where he was booked for violation of:
288 (c) (1) PC Lewd and Lascivious act with a Child FELONY
288.3 P.C. Contact with a Minor with Intent to Commit a Sexual Offense FELONY
311.3 P.C. Sexual Exploitation of a Minor FELONY
311.4 (A) PC Use/Etc Minor for Obscene Matter FELONY
261.5 ( C ) PC Unlawful Sexual Intercourse with a Minor more than 3 Years Younger
647.6 (A)(1) PC Annoy/Etc Child under 18
Total Bail was set at two hundred thousand dollars (200,000).
The investigation into the narcotics is ongoing and the Tuolumne County Narcotics Team anticipates submitting their case to the Tuolumne County District Attorney’s Office for review and filing of charges over the next few days.
An investigation into Kenneth McLeod’s activities with the juvenile victim is also on going. Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office, Detective Brandon Lowry is requesting anybody having information regarding this case or other possible illegal activities of Kenneth McLeod contact him at (209) 694-2955
