Good Work By Law Enforcement & Home Owner Leads to Burglary Arrest
Sonora, CA...On 1/3/14 about 8:30 A.M. a resident of an address on Caleb Court in the Lambert Lakes sub-division, arrived home after grocery shopping. As she entered the home she interrupted the suspect burglarizing her home. The suspect, a white male, fled the residence carrying a bag and items from the residence. The suspect entered a vehicle near the residence and fled the scene. The victim was able to give a detailed description of the suspect, his vehicle, and the bag that was stolen from the residence. Tuolumne County Sheriff Deputies initiated an investigation and had a, be on the lookout, for the vehicle and suspect broadcast to all Law Enforcement Agencies in Tuolumne County....
A short time later a CHP Officer located the vehicle in front of a residence in the 19000 block of Serrano Road. He notified the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office and watched the vehicle until the arrival of the Deputies. The occupants of the residence were contacted and all stepped outside. The victim was brought to the scene and positively identified the vehicle in the driveway as the vehicle the suspect fled her residence in. The victim then identified one of the people standing outside of the residence as the suspect that had fled her residence. This person was identified as, nineteen year old, Zackery Moore. Moore was taken into custody.
A search of the residence was conducted by the Deputies and a laptop computer and other items that were stolen from the victim’s residence were located.
Zackery Moore was transported to and booked into Tuolumne County Jail on charges of Burglary and Possession of Stolen Property. As of 1/4/13 Moore was still being held in the Tuolumne County Jail with bail set at 5000.00 dollars.

496 P.C. Possession of Stolen Property
