AAUW Home Tour, Tea & Boutique: rescheduled to Saturday, December 14, 12 to 4 pm.

Columbia, CA...Members of the Sonora Branch of AAUW are hosting their major fundraiser of the year, the 47th Annual AAUW Home Tour, Saturday, December 14, from 12 to 4 pm. The event features a tour of four outstanding homes in Sonora and Columbia, including the recently renovated Curtin Mansion. Also, in Faith Hall at the Church of the 49ers in Columbia, ticket holders will be treated to tea and cookies, and can shop at the boutique and participate in the popular basket raffle.

The church is located on Parrotts Ferry Road and Jackson Street in Columbia (11155 Jackson Street). To access the two homes in Columbia, go to the Columbia Elementary School and jump on a Linkline Charter shuttle bus. During the event the shuttle will run continuously between the two Columbia homes and the school.

Tickets ($20) can be purchased at the Mountain Bookshop in the Junction Shopping Center and Joan's Boutique in downtown Sonora, and Seven Sisters Soap & Candle in Columbia. On Saturday, tickets may be purchased for $25 "at the door" of the Church of the 49ers. Proceeds are distributed to local women for college scholarships.
