Woman Jailed for Using Stolen Checks & More
Sonora, CA....On 12/10/13 Tuolumne County Deputies were conducting an investigation into fraudulent checks being written at Tractor Supply in East Sonora, and CVS Pharmacy in the Junction Shopping Center. Their investigation led them to an address on Blue Bell East. At the residence they contacted several people including the 25 year old suspect, Darlene McNaul. The Deputies investigation uncovered that numerous checks were stolen from an 88 year old females,residence on Curtis Circle in Sonora. McNaul then forged checks at CVC Pharmacy on two occasions obtaining approximately five hundred dollars in merchandise, and once at Tractor Supply obtaining another approximately five hundred dollars in merchandise...
A search of the Blue Bell East residence resulted in the discovery of the majority of the merchandise obtained from Tractor Supply, a small amount of Heroin, narcotics paraphernalia, and one of the stolen checks.
McNaul was booked into the Tuolumne County Jail. As of 12/12/13 at 9:00 A.M. McNaul was still in custody at the jail. Her bail is set at 50,000 dollars.
