The 7th Annual Klassen's Turkey Trot...Hundreds of Wild Turkey Trotters Take Part
Murphys, CA...The 7th Annual Klassen's Turkey Trot filled Murphys Community Park early on Thanksgiving morning. There was music, great t-shirts, donations for the food bank and a great way to get the holiday of on the right foot. The event keeps growing every year and most people seemed to put the crowd in the 600 range for this informal event....
The event was the senior project for Hannah Cantrell and registration started at 8am and consisted of a canned food item for the local food bank. Last year about a litteral ton of food was collected.
The great T-Shirts for the event raised funds to help some families in need this year. If you missed the event but would still like one of the great shirts a few are available at Hatcher Winery's tasting room.
We have over 600 photos and a couple of short video clips of the event. Great job everyone!!!
