Calaveras Youth Mentoring Program MENTORS WANTED! (November 2013)
Angels Camp, CA...If you know of someone who would make a good mentor for any of these young people, please call us at 209-736-6078. 9-year-old boy, Valley Springs, is hoping to be matched with an energetic guy. Enjoys hiking, swimming, and playing sports. Likes working on projects and taking things apart. Plays rummy like a champ. 14-year-old boy, Rail Road Flat, enjoys catching reptiles, drawing, woodworking, watching horror movies and working on cars and bikes. Would like a mentor who is outdoorsy and may have an interest in Ventriloquism....
7-year-old boy, West Point, would like a mentor with a lot of energy who can keep up with him. Likes playing with Legos, kicking a soccer ball, and trying new things.
13-year-old boy, Mountain Ranch, is really into sports: baseball, swimming, running. Would like a mentor who could teach him how to play a new sport like tennis or basketball. Also enjoys science and likes building science experiments.
16-year-old girl, San Andreas, would very much like to have a friend with whom she can hang out and do new things. Likes to sing, draw, and go on hikes. She loves puzzles.
13-year-old girl, San Andreas, loves all animals and enjoys being athletic. Would like to see new places. Wants a mentor who she can trust and talk with.
12-year-old boy, Angels Camp, enjoys running, basketball, and football. Loves art, especially drawing. Is looking for a mentor who can help him learn new things.
13-year-old boy, Angels Camp, likes to BBQ and ride bikes. Is looking for a mentor who is talkative, interested in boating, and knows how to work on cars.
8-year-old boy, Angels Camp, wants to be a police officer. Likes to play golf, go swimming, and watch sports. Wants to spend time with a kind and gentle man.
10-year-old boy, Murphys, would like to go fishing with his mentor. Is really good at taking things apart and fixing them. Enjoys making YouTube videos, and would like to be matched with a dependable encouraging man.
10-year-old girl, Arnold, is looking for a new friend, someone to keep her company. Enjoys board games, swimming, and baking. Would like to build a tree house and ride a horse.
13-year-old girl, Arnold, enjoys drawing and listening to music. Would like to try horseback riding and snowboarding.
