Make Reservations Now For The Annual "Wine Tasking In The Meadow" at Bear Valley Cross Country
Bear Valley, California Snowshoe or glide along super scenic, groomed cross country ski trails (or stroll on a packed walking trail if the ski trails haven’t open for the season or if you are a non-skier/snowshoer) to a scenic location in the Bear Valley Cross Country meadow. Then, stop and sample a variety of wines from local foothill wineries, sponsored by Chatom Vineyards, at Bear Valley Cross Country's "Wine Tasting In The Meadow" on Saturday, November 30, 2013, from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m...
Located on Bear Valley Cross Country's trail system, this popular event will feature wines from Chatom and other local Calaveras Wineries like Black Sheep, Hatcher, and Milliaire, to name a few. Fruit, crackers and cheeses, provided by Bear Valley Cross Country, round out the tasting. The cost is $10.00 per person (not including a required cross country trail pass for xc skiers and snowshoers). Participants must be at least 21 years of age. Please show up by 1:00 p.m. to participate.
The Wine Tasting in the Meadow is part of Bear Valley Business Association’s annual Winterfest Celebration. The festivities begin on Friday evening with Bear Valley Real Estate’s annual Open House Celebration and a Back Country Film Fest at the Bear Valley Lodge, and continue on Saturday with various Bear Valley business open house celebrations, followed by evening festivities including a bonfire in front of the Bear Valley Lodge, and fashion show and live music inside the Bear Valley Lodge.
