November Master Gardener's Open Garden Day
San Andreas, CA...Calaveras County Master Gardeners will conduct their Open Garden Day on Saturday, November 23th. There will be no plant sale. Located at the County Government Center, 891 Mountain Ranch Road, San Andreas, the garden will be open to the public from 10 am and close at 2pm...
Once the winter rains begin it is the season for bareroot planting and on this Open Garden Day we will concentrate both on bareroot plantings and orchard care.
Master Gardeners will answer home gardening questions as well as assist in identifying and diagnosing plant and pest problems. They can also provide key tips on how to navigate the vast resources available to you from the University of California. When the garden is not open, home gardening assistance is offered by Master Gardeners through the help line at: 209-754-2880. The public may leave a message regarding the problem and a Master Gardener will return the call.
The Demonstration Garden is a project of the Calaveras County Master Gardeners whose primary goal is to educate the public about home gardening. Proceeds from plant sales support the Master Gardener’s education programs and maintenance of the Demonstration Garden.
