‘Dog Day Afternoon’ and Flea Market Coming to Copperopolis Town Square Saturday, October 12
Copperopolis, CA...Copperopolis Town Square – the events, shopping and entertainment gathering place in Calaveras County – will host its annual “Dog Day Afternoon” celebration and Flea Market on Saturday, October 12, 2013. The Flea Market, presented by Copper Parks and Recreation, will take place from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., while Dog Day Afternoon festivities will run from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sponsored by the Town Square’s Chloe & Zoey’s Pet Boutique and benefitting the Calaveras Humane Society, Dog Day will feature a costume parade for pooches and owners, as well as raffles, games and prizes...

That evening, enjoy Elvis Presley tribute band Jim Anderson & The Rebels from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The original September 21 show was postponed by rain.
