Gold Rush Day is October 19th

Angels Camp, CA...GOLD RUSH DAY is an annual event recognizing a historical landmark in the Gold Rush town of Angels Camp. Last year, the first event, the historical landmark was “100 years since the city’s incorporation” and was celebrated with the also historical closing of Hwy 49/S. Main St., making way for a Street Fair and downtown celebration. This years event is in celebration of “165 years since the founding of Angels Camp” in 1848. Going forward, the annual celebrations will include the same, a closing of Hwy. 49/S. Main St., Street Fair, activities and entertainment. Angels Camp Commemorative Committee anticipates 5,000 + people will come for a day of celebration in our Historic downtown and Utica Park areas...

The Angels Camp Commemorative Committee, the Angels Camp Business Association and the City of Angels Camp are pleased to invite you to participate as a qualified vendor for the Angels Camp GOLD RUSH DAY on October 19, 2013. (Qualified vendor is having the required city, county, and state permits.) Vendors will be allowed to set-up a 10’x10’ booth in the historic downtown area of Main St., in the parking lot behind Sue’s Café, plus Utica Park, on 10/19/13. Vendors on Main St. will have an hour to get ready for the event. ALL Vendors are required to participate until the close of the event at 4:00 PM 10/19/13. ALL Vendors MUST be cleared from the road no later than 5:30 PM without exception.

Business owners in the historical downtown area have first choice of the vendor area in front of their store. If you are a business owner and would like to waive that choice to allow for another vendor’s use please let us know. Space is limited so get your space now for just $49! To get your forms and sign up for participation call 736-1333 or email AngelsCampCelebrates@gmail.com. Spaces are allocated on a first come first serve basis.

Main Street will be closed at Sam’s Way (Napa Auto Parts) to the HWY 49 / Vallecito Rd. intersection from 10am until 6pm. FREE transportation will be provided again from both the Fairgrounds and Bret Harte High School for event goers.
