HoneyFlow FarmFest brings foodies, yogis and farmers together for a day of inspiration, heirloom feast, swimming, and camping on a permaculture farm in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains.
Jackson, CA..Paloma Pollinators and Wild Culture announce the HoneyFlow FarmFest, a one-of-a-kind daylong food and wellness event set within a spectacular scenic garden and farm between Tahoe and Yosemite. Chef Peter Rogmark is preparing a menu, which includes Heritage Turkeys and heirloom veggies raised on the farm. Musician and sound healer Emily Lewis will share beautiful melodies during HoneyFlow Yoga to create an unforgettable day. Created in partnership with Wild Culture Yoga Teacher Joody Marks, Paloma Pollinators’ farm on the beautiful Manzanita Ridge will host the HoneyFlow FarmFest, bringing a unique flavor to the relaxing foothill lifestyle...
The daylong experience includes honey-tasting, a honey-making workshop, flow yoga class, farm tour, and heirloom feast. Other savory activities include swimming, slack-lining, massage, camping, and music.
Art of Honey-making will be taught by 25 year bee-keeper Sean Kriletich, who said, “Beyond Farm to Fork, participants will be practicing yoga, learning about our allies the pollinators, as well as tasting food grown beneath their feet. The garden is a wonderful place to breath, stretch and connect to the web of life. It will be a treat to share so many kinds of honey and nectar with everyone.”
Who: All those interested in personal wellness and ecosystem health.
What: Experiential education regarding the role of pollinators and ancient postures creating peace and harmony in our inner and outer worlds, followed by a delicious feast of farm fresh food. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options are available.
