Vandals Costing Frogtown
FROGTOWN -- Officials at the Calaveras County Fairgrounds are asking for the public’s help in finding the perpetrators who have vandalized Frogtown several times in the past month. Almost $2,000 in damages was done when someone tampered with the locked electronic sewer monitoring device. On another occasion, someone broke into Mark Twain Hall and sprayed three large fire extinguishers around the room...
The additional work has stretched thin an already limited staff.
“We are still running on a very conservative budget and these vandalisms costs us money that we’d rather put elsewhere at Frogtown,” said Laurie Giannini, CEO.
Anyone with information about the incident or vandals is asked to call Giannini at (209) 736-2561 ext. 6.
