Collaboration Makes for Successful Event at Angels Camp Museum
Angels Camp, CA– Last Thursday, August 22nd, the Calaveras Visitors Bureau, Angels Camp Museum and Calaveras County Chamber of Commerce jointly hosted a mixer at the beautiful Angels Camp Museum. The Mixer was well attended by local business people and community members. The Museum offered tours and was happy to introduce the Museum to many who had never stopped by to see the entire facility which stretches down the hillside below the entry building on the highway...
The Angels Camp Museum is one of the premier local history museums in Northern California and features the second largest museum carriage house display in the United States. Located on a 3-acre site of the historic Angels Mine, the museum dedicates collections to inspire understanding of the gold country history of Angels Camp and the Mother Lode region. Their mission includes creating opportunities for learning, discovery and bringing to life the extraordinary stories of our country’s past.
Kimberly Arth, museum director, Diane Gray, executive director of the Calaveras Chamber of Commerce and Lisa Boulton, executive director of the Calaveras Vistiors Bureau all expressed appreciation for the opportunity to create a collaborative event in which their respective members could meet and network. They look forward to future collaborations.
