Frogtown Opens RV Park to Free RV Spots for Fire Evacuees
Frogtown, CA – The Calaveras County Fairgrounds RV Park has opened its facility FREE to Tuolumne County residents who are in the official evacuation areas of the Rim Fire. The RV park offers full hookups, shade trees and allows pets on leashes. Wifi is available. The park has 60 spaces available on a first-come, first-served basis...
“We just want to reach out to our neighbors in Tuolumne County and let them know we are here supporting them, too. It’s the Mother Lode way of life,” said Laurie Giannini, CEO for the Calaveras County Fair and Jumping Frog Jubilee.
The fairgrounds are located at 101 Gun Club Road, directly across from the Glory Hole Entrance to New Melones Reservoir on Highway 49, two miles south of Angels Camp. Look for the Jumping Frog sign on your right.
