Bridge Fire 80% Contained and Water and Mapping Shrink it Down to 46 Acres
Vallecito, CA...Conditions: Current Situation: Brush and oak woodland vegetation. Access has been an issue. Steep, rocky terrain makes fire suppression work extremely difficult especially during the nighttime hours. The fire is located off of Parrott's Ferry Road north of the bridge, near Vallecito & New Melones Lake Acres Burned - Containment: 46 acres. 80% contained, Cause: Under investigation....
Cooperating Agencies: Altaville/Melones Fire; Angels City Fire; Murphys Fire; West Point Fire; Central Fire; San Joaquin County; Stanislaus County; Stanislaus National Forest; Los Angeles County Fire.

Additional Information: Please exercise great caution while driving through the towns of Angels Camp and Vallecito, and in the areas of Parrott’s Ferry Road and Camp Nine Road. Please watch for fire vehicles and personnel. Smoke may reduce visibility, especially at night.
