Fire Update....Pine Tree Into Power Lines Causes Vegetation Fire

Copperopolis, CA...At 11:16pm last night a large Bull Pine fell across Black Creek Drive striking power lines and starting a vegetation fire in the process. The fire was kept to 1/4 acre but was tough to extinguish becuse of the involved power lines. Addtional details are enclosed....

A LARGE BULL PINE FELL ACROSS BLACK CREEK STRIKING THE POWER LINES. A ¼ ACRE OF GRASS VEGETATION BURNED. FIRE WAS DIFFICULT TO CONTAIN DUE TO THE DOWNED POWER LINES.
