BBVA Compass Foundation Makes Grant to CCF
Angels Camp, CA...The Calaveras Community Foundation (CCF) is proud to announce the receipt of a $1000 grant from BBVA Compass Foundation. As a first-time corporate donor to CCF, BBVA Compass Foundation is a welcome addition to the growing list of corporate sponsors who are partnering with CCF....
Mr. Winston Burke, the Angels Camp branch manager for BBVA in 2012 was instrumental in the award. “Without Mr. Burke’s help in guiding me through the online grant application process, and personally advocating for the grant award to BBVA headquarters, I’m sure we wouldn’t have been successful,” said Paul Stein the Philanthropy Consultant for the CCF. “Mr. Burke has a bright future and we wish him all the best as he advances his career in the banking business.”
CCF distributes funds, like this grant from BBVA Compass, during its annual grant-giving period currently underway – and concluding on May 31, 2013. Incorporated in 2000, the Foundation has provided more than $650,000 in competitive grants, scholarships and assistance during that period.
