Leila Fowler Case Update for Monday May 6th

Valley Springs, CA...The update items for today included that the canvassing has been completed and they are starting to results back from the evidence submitted to the crime lab. They could not go into details on what the results were but did confirm a result. There is starting to be a general sense that their investigation is moving along but they are being very careful to make sure all the I's are dotted and the T's crossed so when details of the case can be release it is solid. Today's video was shot tripodless so sorry for a bit of camera motion. Updated with official release...

The Canvassing Area and Sheriff's Kuntz Going over Details On Camera

(Valley Springs, CA) Calaveras County Sheriff’s Investigators completed the re-canvassing of residences in the Rancho Calaveras subdivision today. All information will be compiled and analyzed by sheriff’s investigators.

Dive recovery teams from the Calaveras and Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Offices will resume the SCUBA dive operation of a small pond on Tuesday.

The Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office has begun to receive some of the evidence analysis results from the DOJ crime lab, and continues to make progress and narrow its scope in this investigation.
