Veterans Presentation
Angels Camp, CA... For the 17th year Bret Harte High School will be hosting a symposium of speakers who are veterans or current enlisted personnel of the United States Armed Forces. The invited speakers are expected to represent every era from World War II through our current War on Terror and will share their experiences of serving our Nation in uniform...
The presentation will be this Monday, May 6, 2012, from 8am – 12:45pm in the Lower Gym of Bret Harte High (same location as last year).
The purpose of this presentation is to help bring history alive for our students. Who else can tell the story of our Armed Forces better than those who have worn the uniform? Learning history on a first-person basis is the most remembered history.
The Bret Harte High School Lower Gym will be setup in an “exhibitor” fashion with small groups speaking with each presenter for approx. 20 minutes. The speakers are encouraged to bring momentous, pictures, etc. to help tell their story.
