Murphys Irish Day 2013 Trip To Ireland Winner From Modesto
Murphys, CA...Terry Lyons, from Modesto, became the lucky recipient of a trip to Ireland when his winning raffle ticket was drawn on Saturday, March 16, during this year’s Murphys Irish Day celebration. The coveted prize will allow Lyons and a companion the flexibility of creating their own itinerary. They will enjoy their first night in a pre-booked accommodation in Dublin or Shannon and then spend the next five nights in Irish Bed & Breakfasts sprinkled throughout the countryside. The couple will have daily home cooked Irish breakfasts. Air transportation and a standard shift rental car are included...
The Murphys Business Association contracted with Above & Beyond Travel to book this trip. As is usually the case, some restrictions apply.
Three other ticket holders were fortunate to win the other raffle prizes.
Sandra Shetzline, of Murphys, will receive two nights lodging at Rocky Hill Retreat, lunch for two at Aria, dinner for two at the Murphys Hotel, wine and food pairing from Val Du Vino, and a family walking pass from Cave & Mine Adventures that consists of a 45 minute tour of Moaning Cavern.
Chris Frederick, who lives in Pioneer, will enjoy two nights in a vacation home from Murphys Vacation Rentals, lunch for two at Yogurt Your Way, dinner for two at Alchemy, wine and food pairing from Frogs Tooth Winery, and a family walking pass from Cave & Mine Adventures.
The third prize package, won by Steve Van Anburg, of Murphys, encompasses one night’s lodging at the Murphys Inn, one night’s lodging at the Murphys Suites, lunch for two at El Jardin, dinner for two at Angelo's Steakhouse Italiano, a kayak rental from Sierra Nevada Adventure Company, and a family walking pass from Cave & Mine Adventures.
Murphys Irish Day is presented each year by the Murphys Business Association with proceeds funding the activities of the association as well as community projects and enhancements. The 2014 celebration will be Saturday, March 15.
