Angels Camp, CA...Mother Lode Volkswagen Club Annual Canned Food DRIVE! Santa’s Express Needs Our Help!!! We will be taking a drive to help the needy and all valley VW clubs are invited. Saturday, November 10th, 2012 Meet in front of: Starbucks/CVS Pharmacy at the intersection of Hwy 4 and Hwy 49 in Angels Camp 11:00 a.m. We will be leaving the parking lot at 11:15 a.m. SHARP, caravanning to the Black Bart Playhouse parking lot in Murphys to make our deliveries to Santa’s Express. Lunch afterwards at a local restaurant in Murphys, and then some local winery tours for those who want to do some tasting...
Tuolumne County participants will meet in front of O’Reilly’s in Sonora, and leave by 10:15 a.m. to caravan to Angels Camp.
Santa’s Express feeds up to 1,000 families every Christmas, through the help of local donations. They also accept donations of new, unwrapped clothing, jackets and toys. It would be great if we could all help the cause.
If you are involved with other clubs who would like to join our efforts please invite them. It will be fun and we will be doing something to help the needy in the Mother Lode!
