Phyllis Raye Thomas 1942 - 2012

Murphys, CA...After 70 years, Phyllis Raye Thomas, completed her life’s journey on Tuesday July 31st, 2012 in Bonners Ferry, ID. She was born in Murphys, California on May 27, 1942 the daughter of Mizpah & Wes Thomas. She attended Hazel Fischer School & Bret Harte High School. With a contagious laugh that would fill up a room, Phyllis had an incredible blend of style, toughness and loving tenderness that will never be matched. Filled with compassion and interest in others, Phyllis made friends easily and maintained contact with many....

Her signature gift of joy, shown through her constant smiling, laughter, and joking around, will never be forgotten. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with family friends and her many pets.

The great memories Phyllis has provided will sustain us as we celebrate her life for many years to come. Always in our thoughts and forever in our hearts.

Those we love don’t go away. They walk beside us everyday. Unseen, unheard, but always near. Still loved, still missed and very dear.

She is survived by her children Rebecca Yates, of Dania Beach , FL, Jim Eaves, of Arnold Ca. Deborah Eaves, of Yuma AZ. Kenneth Thomas of Bonners Ferry ID, and Mizpah Thomas of Woodland Park CO.

She also survived by her brother Tom Thomas, of Bonners Ferry ID, and many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.

There will be a celebration of her life at a later date.
