Happy Outcome in Possible Drowning at Spicer
Bear Valley, CA...We just thought we would post a happy outcome of Bear Valley & Tuolumne County Search and Rescue activity. Over the weekend a canoe capsized on Spicer Reservoir a couple miles up the long lake. All of the occupants were cold and wet but one party was missing. Search and Rescue teams were called out and the search was begun for what at this time was considered a possible drowning of the missing party....
Details are still a bit thin and Alpine County is working on a press release but it seems that while the search was on the cold, wet and thought to possibly be deceased person made way back to the camping area.
It is nice to have a happy ending to a story like this...

I hope the party was wearing a life vest!Spicers is a bit remote in certain locations so take precautions when going.Glad everything turned out fine.I was just about to email Pinetree to see what was up with the missing person.
