New Exhibit at Gallery Calaveras Postcards to and from Calaveras....Opening Reception is Saturday, May 5th
San Andreas, CA...Gallery Group artists are busy producing new works for the upcoming theme show entitled, Postcards to or from Calaveras. Expect to see a wide range of interpretive works from forests to meadows to memorabilia. A diversely talented group of over 50 artists share gallery space in the historic county building in downtown San Andreas where artistic imaginings find a home....

Art lovers, this is your invitation to the opening reception on Saturday, May 5, from 1-3 pm, where you will commune with the artists and enjoy delicious refreshments. The show will be hanging through August 25.
For those of you who have never visited 22 Main Street in downtown San Andreas, you’re in for a treat. Expect to be charmed by the variety and expertise of painters, potters, sculptors, jewelers and mixed media artists. Discover the ongoing music, art events and programs sponsored by the Calaveras County Arts Council.
Gallery Calaveras also features a wonderful retail art-gift space. Unique, local handcrafted jewelry, pottery, cards, prints, books, candles, fabric art and more are always available for that special occasion.
