Dr. Richard Gonzales Returns to Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital
SAN ANDREAS, CA – Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital (MTSJH) Interim Hospital President Patti Monczewski announced that Dr. Richard Gonzales has returned to Valley Springs Family Medical Center, and is seeing patients beginning today. “One of my top priorities as Interim President is to provide qualified physicians in our Family Medical Centers,” recalled Monczewski. “Dr. Richard Gonzales was missed by his colleagues as well as his patients. His return to the Valley Springs Family Medical Center is one of many positive steps underway at Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital.”...
Dr. Gonzales specializes in Family Medicine, treating teens through seniors for the full spectrum of medical concerns. Dr. Gonzales is a Board Certified Family Practitioner and was the Honorary Chairman of President George W. Bush’s Physicians Advisory Committee.
Dr. Gonzales completed his Family Practice Residency at St. Clare’s Hospital in Schenectady, New York, and has received rotational training in Pediatric and Neonatology Intensive Care at Albany Medical Center, New York and Orthopedics/Rehabilitation at the Veterans Administration Hospital. Dr. Gonzales also practiced at Piedmont Healthcare in Jasper, Georgia.
