Calaveras County Fair Seeks Partner
Angels Camp, CA....The 39th District Agricultural Association is seeking a partner to assist in the production of the 2012 Calaveras County Fair and Jumping Frog Jubilee, May 17-20. The Fair includes, but is not limited to, the exhibits programs (i.e. junior livestock, still exhibits, professional art, wine competition, etc.), entertainment, food & beverage, alcohol management, security & law enforcement, gate & admission operations, maintenance and custodial services and all other aspects to produce the annual fair. The operator will provide trained management, staff and volunteers to accomplish the task. ....
The RFP issued by 39th District Agricultural Association will seek qualified bidders to enter into a contract to produce and operate the annual Fair at the current fairgrounds known as Frogtown. The contract shall extend for one year. Any operator interested in receiving a copy of the RFP must submit a request in writing no later than October 28th, 2011. If the proposer’s letter is not received on or prior to October 28th, 2011 at 4:00pm, no RFP will be available. Additional information can be found in the Association’s “Letter of Intent” published in the legal section of the Calaveras Enterprise or can be found on their website at calaverasenterprise.com. Interested parties may pick up a copy of the “Letter of Intent” at the Fairground’s office, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00a.m. to 1:00p.m.
