Stanislaus River Salmon Festival Coming November 5th

Kinghts Ferry, CA...The East Stanislaus Resource Conservation District would like to invite you and your family to attend the second annual Stanislaus River Salmon Festival in Knights Ferry, CA. The festival will host several activities for adults and children, including: local arts & craft vendors, live music, face painting, fish print t-shirts, a salmon obstacle course, fly fishing demos, wildlife, and tours of the historic town of Knights Ferry (which features the longest covered bridge west of the Mississippi)...

The event will also highlight educational exhibits of: local agriculture, seasonal salmon runs, river restoration, and organizations working to promote clean water here in our county.

For those of you who enjoy great food, the Orange Blossom 4-H and Oakdale Lions Club will be providing deliciously prepared salmon and other tasty dishes

Here’s your opportunity to enjoy the outdoors with your family and friends and learn more about Stanislaus County’s diverse resources.

Please join us November 5th from 10AM to 3PM at the Army Corp of Engineers Park located on the bank of the Stanislaus River.

Take the Kennedy Road exit off Highway 108/120, about 12 miles east of Oakdale, CA, and follow the signs down to the festival. We look forward to seeing you there!!!
