September 24, 2011 - Tailgate Cooking Demonstration at Marisolio - Ready for football? Join us at for Neil Singh’s return as he presents his Tailgate Menu in Indian-American Fusion style! Back by popular demand at Marisolio Tasting Bar, Neil Singh will present his mouth-watering and crowd-pleasing treats on Saturdayat both 10:00 am and 6:00 pm. This football party-themed class features dishes including Goumet Masala Tandoori Chicken Wings, New Delhi Turkey Sliders, and Mumbai Turkey Chili, topped off with Lhasi, a traditional Indian beverage.

While the flavor of his dishes is East Indian, Neil’s Gourmet Masala spice blends are definitely
compatible with the American palate. Each of his 5 blends is a mix of freshly ground spices, and

Saturday, September 24, 2011 - "Vanishing of the Bees" Film At Chatom - Hosted by Slow Food Calaveras, this film discusses what's happening to the bees and why it matters to all of us. Join us at 6:30pm for a potluck and wine social--bring a dish to share if you can, but it's not necessary. Wine by the glass will be available to purchase, as well as raffle tickets for a chance to win a variety of locally-produced products. More about Vanishing of the Bees...Honeybees have been
mysteriously disappearing across the planet, literally vanishing from their hives. with two renowned events - the Calaveras Grape Stomp and the Gold Rush Street Faire.
