There will be a meeting of the Calaveras County Board of Education on Monday, August 29, 2011. The regular meeting will begin at 4:30 p.m. and will be held in the Conference Room of the County Office of Education.
Any writings or documents that are public records and are provided to a majority of the County Board regarding an open session item on this agenda will be available for public inspection during normal business hours at the Calaveras County Office of Education located at 185 So. Main Street, Angels Camp.
Requests for any disability-related modification or accommodation, including auxiliary aids or services in order to participate in the public meeting may be made by contacting the Office of the County Superintendent at (209) 736-6007 at least two days prior to the scheduled meeting. 7.1 Sufficiency of Textbooks and Instructional Materials
To allow participation by parents, teachers, and members of the community interested in the affairs of the schools operated by the Calaveras County Office of Education to make a determination as to whether each pupil enrolled in such schools has sufficient textbooks or instructional materials, or both, that are consistent with the content and cycles of the curriculum framework adopted by the state to use in class and to take home, prior to adoption of a resolution by the County Board of Education.
